Hi, I’m Donna Franklin West . . .
My role models weren’t all cut from the same cloth. Some led with advanced degrees, others with hard-earned common sense. What they shared was sound judgment, accountability, and respect for people. That still shapes how I think about leadership today.
I bring more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of projects, people, and leadership. I’m known for being direct, practical, and results-driven, especially in environments where expectations are high and there isn’t much room for missteps.
I didn’t come up through a single, polished path. I’ve worked alongside technical teams, operational leaders, and executives in environments where complexity, change, and pressure were constant. I’ve seen capable teams struggle not because they lacked talent, but because purpose, people, and process drifted out of alignment.
For a long time, I thought leadership meant having the right answers. Experience taught me otherwise. Leadership is about making decisions, communicating clearly, and taking responsibility for what happens next, even when the situation isn’t clean or comfortable.
Today, I work with professionals and organizations to improve how people show up at work, not just how they move up. That means strengthening communication, sharpening decision-making, and helping teams focus on what actually moves the work forward.
There are no canned programs here. Every engagement is shaped by the people involved and what needs to move. My role is to surface what matters, challenge what doesn’t, and support decisions that lead to action, not more discussion.
